It looks like the LJ sky is falling okay, it must be Tuesday xDD
I'm a little more worried this time, then I was, uh, the other times, though - and so I'm actually backing up my LJ as we speak.
liz_marcs has some great tools to do just that. Dude, I didn't even know you could DO this stuff! It's pretty neat. Like you can transfer all of your LJ posts to another online comm, or you can convert it to a PDF file.
And actually, I just got an error message for LJ Book. I guess a lot of people are backing their stuff up right now.
I'm hoping nothing too bad comes of this, although letting go the majority of your staff isn't too promising. But I love LJ, I've been here since *2001* and ... yeah. [clings]

Date: 2009-01-11 04:42 pm (UTC)I'm just going back and catching up on everything from last week, so I'm only now hearing about the doomy news. I backed up once before, but have no idea how I did it. I guess it's a good idea, not that I'm all that attached to my content.
