I have reached the point with my fic where I have let it sit too long and I now hate it. It will probably never see the light of day >_<

Does this ever happen with anyone else? You write something and you go 'okay, this isn't too bad, a little tweaking here and there and it might be workable', and then you ... don't. Tweak it that is. Oh, you try. You try this and that and the other thing but nothing *works*, man, and so it just gets a little older, and moldier, and kinda bitter in that way only fic can be bitter.

Well, my fic has now officially taken root onto my harddrive and I now hate it so screw you, evil story! [grumps]

I hate the stuff I've written that's too long, solely because they just won't end. Usually I just end up getting so irritated with them that I ignore them completely until like a year or two later when I go, "Oh, hey, I thought I liked this one! Weh?"

Yes, I have Draco/Ginny in which he babysits, and I've let to sit aside for like 3 months, and now I think it just falls flat.

It's currently mocking me, in a very hostile way.

It just happened to me. It was a pretty new story, just started a week ago, but I was getting no where with it and decided to give it up. Maybe I'll revisit it later but *sniff* I had to say goodbye. I have had pretty good lucky with dS fics so when its not working, there must be a reason.

By the way, I hope you like this. If you want another version, just let me know.
